Developers of new forensic devices and instruments come to us for efficient and honest evaluations. We work with manufacturers and developers to establish testing criteria, then perform all testing and provide complete reporting.
Does a new instrument work as intended? Can an older instrument be applied to forensics in a new way? To fully evaluate a given technology, we assess performance in conformity, reproducibility, sensitivity, specificity, maintenance, portability and sample use. Also evaluated are user-experience items such as controls, screen readability, weight and packaging. User manuals and troubleshooting instructions can be evaluated and end-users surveyed to provide a complete picture of how a piece of technology will work in the field or could be improved. We can also create training videos and other materials to support your product.
