NFSTC@FIU online course sale

The National Forensic Science Technology Center isn’t fooling around when it comes to providing high-quality training for first responders, new crime scene investigators, criminal justice professionals or anyone wanting to learn more about what goes on behind the yellow crime scene tape.

From April 1-30, NFSTC@FIU’s popular flagship online training courses, Introduction to Crime Scene Investigation and Intermediate Crime Scene Investigation, are on sale for $99 each.

Both courses were developed by subject matter experts, meet widely accepted guidelines and provide a solid understanding of theories, techniques and best practices.

Introduction to Crime Scene Investigation offers step-by-step guidance for scene processing and evidence collection.

Intermediate Crime Scene Investigation goes beyond basic skills to cover situations investigators don’t see every day. Topics include casting footwear under water, lifting fingerprints from skin, and footwear and tire track documentation. The course also includes do-it-yourself experiment ideas for practicing new skills.

Both 16-hour courses are self-paced with 60 days of access from date of enrollment. Certificates of completion are issued to students who successfully complete each course’s post-assessment.
